The CNews host allegedly “used all forms of serious pressure” to obtain nude and masturbation photos and videos from a young actor as part of the casting for the “Falcons” web series he was producing.
Jean-Marc Morandini will therefore go through the justice box. The CNews host was referred to the Paris court for “sexual harassment” and “hidden work” in the case the Falcons, from the name of the web series produced by the media journalist. The investigating judge signed her order on December 23, reveals BFMTV.
In July 2016, a survey of Inrocks reveals the methods used by Jean-Marc Morandini for the casting of the series supposed to tell “The life of a football team in a Parisian suburb”. On various casting sites, a certain Catherine Leclerc approaches young actors between the ages of 18 and 25. After a brief misrepresentation of what should be the program intended for the Web, the one who presents herself as the casting director of Morandini’s production company, Ne Zappez pas Production, asks – insistently – the young actors to send full nude or masturbation photos and videos.

“Me, at the start, I understood that it would be a slightly offbeat series, a little humorous, with football as a background, where there would potentially be brief nude scenes.. I didn’t expect these scenes, and sex in general, to take center stage in the series ”, will tell Franceinfo, one of the actors shortly after the publication of the article. Another, Jules, who was running for the show, was asked if he could come with his 14-year-old brother, to shoot a scene where they “To [masturberaient]”. The famous Catherine will even propose to make this little film at home, and to post it “On (the platform, editor’s note) Viméo”, before deleting it. A judicial investigation then opens which reveals that behind Catherine Leclerc is actually hiding Jean-Marc Morandini, who would have used this fictional character to make young actors shoot videos of a sexual nature. The host of CNews is then accused of “sexual harassment” and “hidden work” by five of these actors. At the end of the investigation, the judge considered that the facts of “sexual harassment” were characterized only for one actor. “Serious pressure”
Quoted by BFMTV, the judge considers that Morandini has “Worn out from any form of serious pressure [à l’égard du jeune comédien] for the real or apparent purpose of obtaining an act of a sexual nature for his own benefit […] and this in particular through the creation of the totally fictitious character of Catherine Leclerc, a maternal and reassuring figure inspiring confidence in the young man, who encouraged him to always push his limits in the act of a sexual nature, under the alleged pretext of working his posture as an actor ”. “Jean-Marc Morandini has benefited from four dismissals. But he is indeed fired for sexual harassment concerning a young actorCeline Lasek, the host’s lawyer, confirmed to BFMTV. We will therefore continue to fight in court to demonstrate his innocence. ”
In addition to the issue of sexual harassment, justice considers that the facts of “hidden work” brought to light by the investigation are proven. Morandini and his production company would indeed have voluntarily forgotten “To carry out the nominative declaration at the time of hiring and to deliver a payslip when the remuneration is paid”.
Last November, the host of CNews was referred to the criminal court in another case of corruption of two minors, aged 15 and 16 at the time of the facts. Jean-Marc Morandini had made sexual proposals to adolescents on Twitter.
