Jenifer: NRJ12 prefers to deprogram its documentary on the singer, the reasons revealed

Revealed to the general public during his participation in the very first season of the star Academy in 2001, Jenifer had seen her singing career launched in the best possible way after her victory in the final against Mario. Afterwards, the musician has chained albums and successes, before becoming one of the most recurrent coaches of The Voice and The Voice Kids on TF1. Given that she is one of the most iconic figures in Star Academy, Jennifer couldn’t miss the show’s return to the channel. Not surprisingly, she participated in the launch of the new season on Saturday October 15, 2022.

A good opportunity for the singer to remember the good memories of tele-hook, but also to promote his brand new albumcalled N°9, which will be available from Friday November 4, 2022. On this occasion, NRJ12 has decided to broadcast the documentary called Jenifer: Face à ma vie Thursday, November 10, 2022 in prime timeas the channel announced in its program bulletin published on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. As a reminder, the first broadcast of this documentary devoted to the musician took place on the TMC antenna in 2018. However, a programming conflict finally forced NRJ12 to backtrack.

Jenifer: NRJ12 modifies its programming because of TMC

Indeed, the channel has changed its tune by deprogramming the previously announced documentary. NRJ12 thus wanted to avoid direct competition with TMCwhich will launch a brand new, never-before-seen show on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in prime time. Presented by the journalist Helene Mannarino, this new program, called En weekend avec…, will welcome Jenifer as the very first guest. As part of this show, the host and the singer will share a weekend “like a girlfriend getaway“, as the press release from the channel pointed out. They will thus go to Nice, Corsica and Paris, in order to return “in the footsteps of childhood” of the one who celebrated 20 years of careeras well as on top “highlights of his life“.
