In May of this year, daughter Hailey saw the light of day and made the two parents for the first time. All that’s missing is the wedding to make happiness perfect.

The couple living in Ibiza have already forged concrete plans for their wedding, but the ongoing corona pandemic could thwart them in the short term.

“Well, our wedding is planned in Austria,” reveals Jessica in the RTL talk “VIPstagram”. Lockdown is announced there until December 13th. The wedding is planned for afterwards, but she and Johannes are not sure whether it can take place. “It’s pretty much on the brink at the moment.”

If everything goes well, the Ravensburger and the Essen native want to get married in close family circles with parents, grandparents and best man. After all, Jessica Paszka already has a wedding dress and that is “not exactly simple,” she says and admits: “I’m quite honest, if we are going to celebrate quite simply, then I look a little stupid. It’s a little too pompous for that. “

Incidentally, there are no tax reasons for the wedding to take place in December. “We said we would be in Germany in December and then it would just make sense,” said Johannes. There should also be a big wedding celebration when “everything gets a little bit more normal again,” he explains. “We wanted to start the new year together as a family.”

Plan B for the wedding

So that they can actually celebrate the new year as husband and wife, Jessi and Johannes are now working on a plan B – apparently with success. “I just wanted to announce to you that I can be happy. Because no matter what happens, we will get married!” Reveals the 31-year-old now in her Instagram story. “Our wedding was on the brink because we originally wanted to get married in Austria.” The couple do not yet know whether that will still take place. But: “We have a plan B and I’m very grateful for that too. And it won’t be long before we’ll finally get married. I’m so happy and so glad!” For the time being, however, they keep to themselves what the alternative plans of the two look like.
