“Rust” director Joel Souza spoke up after the set accident in which Halyna Hutchins was killed and he was injured.

A tragic accident occurred on the film set of “Rust”. Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins (1979-2021) was killed by a prop gun fired by actor Alec Baldwin (63). Director Joel Souza (48) was seriously injured in the accident in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and had to be hospitalized. The US portal “TMZ” reported that an assistant director had handed the revolver to Baldwin immediately before the accident. According to an arrest warrant from the authorities, he was accidentally loaded with live ammunition. Who was responsible for this in advance should now be determined.
