John Cena is married, has both feet on the ground – and has no children. In an interview, he revealed why that is.
The US actor and professional wrestler John Cena (44) has so far been childless – and would like to remain so in the near future. On the “Drew Barrymore Show” he chatted with his fellow actress about his non-existent desire to have children. According to Barrymore, Cena would be “something like the best dad in the world.” But the “The Suicide Squad” star currently has other plans: he has his hands full being the best husband in the world – for his wife Shay Shariatzadeh (31).
“I’m really enjoying my life,” Cena said. It’s hard work for him though, as he needs a lot of time to get balanced. It’s also hard for him to keep in touch with the people he loves. Just because he might be a good father doesn’t mean he’s going to take this step: “You have to have passion for it. You have to be on fire for it.”
Still, John Cena loves children
Otherwise it’s like saying to a person: “You’re pretty good with your hands, you’d be a good carpenter.” Nevertheless, he is a great friend of children and would be very flattered, for example, when young fans wish to meet him: “That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever heard in my life.” It means a lot for him to fulfill such wishes.
