Joko and Klaas drew attention to the catastrophic nursing conditions at ProSieben on Wednesday. You are even celebrated by RTL for this.

Joko Winterscheidt (42) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (37) used the airtime they had gained the day before on Wednesday (March 31st) in “Joko & Klaas LIVE” at ProSieben to draw attention to the care shortage in Germany. The two TV stars and the broadcaster are even celebrated by the competition for their unique campaign. “Strong action @prosieben! Documentation in real time

While the everyday life of a nurse was shown from her perspective in real time, numerous nurses from all over the country had the opportunity to speak about their experiences, hopes and fears and made clear demands on politicians. Many nurses said their work was close to their hearts, but also reported under-staffing in overburdened hospitals. There are colleagues who have over 300 hours of overtime, said one person affected.

The planned 15 minutes turned into a documentation that showed the stressful everyday life of a nurse in real time for almost seven hours. Thanks to the support of sponsors, there was no need for commercial breaks.

The viewers were also included in the program. Klaas Heufer-Umlauf asked them to post what it takes: “It takes your postings and your experiences.” Because only with a certain volume would the concerns be heard where they should be heard. Many people responded to this call. Thousands of tweets, Insta posts and more were collected in a very short time under the hashtag #.
