Julia Meise is engaged. The advertising icon is now sharing the happy news with beautiful photos that were taken shortly after the romantic proposal on vacation in France.
For a long time, Julia and Nina Meise, both 39, only existed as a pair. The two twin sisters are known to a wide audience on TV as the advertising faces of the Ratiopharm pharmaceutical brand, and numerous other advertising assignments followed. Now one of them is going her own way – with a new partner at her side.

After two and a half years of relationship, sales manager Felix von Berge, 47, asked for his partner Julia Meise’s hand in marriage while they were on vacation in the south of France in August. “I said yes,” she announces the great news via Instagram and shares a series of photos that show her kissing deeply or arm in arm with her loved one. A beautiful diamond ring sparkles on her hand.
Her posting contains numerous congratulations on the engagement. Twin sister Nina Meise is also happy about the news. “I’m getting a brother-in-law. I’m happy,” she comments on the post and puts three red hearts behind it.
“The rings were hidden in a flower pot”
Julia Meise reveals to “Bild” how the proposal took place during a romantic vacation. Her “dream man” asked for her hand in marriage, she says. “We had a nice lunch, there was a little fountain in the yard. I was supposed to go there. I didn’t think anything of it. He took my hand and said incredibly nice words about us and our love. I immediately said: Yes! That “By the way, rings were hidden in a flower pot,” said the 39-year-old.
The two want to start preparing for the wedding at the beginning of next year. First of all, they want to enjoy the feeling of being engaged. “I float through the world and feel like I’ve arrived. It does me so much good and makes me happy,” Julia enthuses.
Her sister can only agree. She says she feels a “real arrival” with Julia and even says: “This relationship inspires me.” She is single again after a breakup in March, but is hopeful. Nina says she’s not worried; life will provide her with a suitable partner.
