Julia Roberts’ twins and her husband Danny Moder recently celebrated their 17th birthday. To celebrate the day, her father shared a rare snapshot of Hazel and Phinnaeus.

Hollywood star Julia Roberts, 54, and her husband, cameraman Danny Moder, 52, became parents for the first time on November 28, 2004. For the 17th birthday of their twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, it’s not just Roberts who shares a sugary – and rare – baby snapshot of the two on Instagram. Moder also opened his private photo album and posted a teenage picture that shows: The now 17-year-old twins have grown pretty big!

Up to now hardly anyone knew what Julia Roberts’ oldest kids look like. Only occasionally did they appear on her husband’s Instagram account. She herself did not share any recordings with her nine million followers until Hazels and Phinnaeus’ 17th birthday.

It was only in July that daughter Hazel celebrated her red carpet debut alongside dad Danny at the 74th Cannes Film Festival. Now the twins appear on a cute teenage picture that their father shares with his almost 60,000 followers on the occasion of their special day. He writes the loving words: “17 today. Thank you for helping me through fatherhood”.

Julia’s sons are casual skateboarders

Twin brother Phinnaeus and the youngest offspring Henry, 14, have not yet celebrated a premiere on the red carpet like their sister – but that is probably only a matter of time. Instead of a suit, Julia Roberts boys prefer to wear jeans, casual shirts, caps and sunglasses or just their swimming trunks. Henry is a passionate skateboarder, as shown by videos and photos on Danny Moder’s Instagram account.

Julia Roberts met Danny Moder in 2000 on the set of their joint film “The Mexican”. Moder worked as a camera assistant on the thriller comedy. On July 4, 2002, the two tied the knot at Roberts Ranch in New Mexico.
