Football star Julian Weigl (25) is under the hood: The ex-BVB player has given his long-time girlfriend Sarah Richmond (23) the word of consent. The newly married couple shared photos on Instagram from the wedding, which took place on September 7, near the Portuguese city of Almada. One day later, Weigl celebrated his 25th birthday.

"Everything in my life has led me to you," writes the Super RTL presenter on Instagram. And the footballer, who currently plays at Benefica Lisbon, also finds touching words: "I couldn't be happier that I can call you not only my best friend, my partner-in-crime, but also my wife," said Weigl .
The two have known each other since their teenage days: when they first met, he was 15 and she was 13 years old. They announced their engagement in the summer of 2019.
