Premiere in the jungle camp: Eric Stehfest and Peter Althof are voted into a jungle test by their fellow campers. But Eric is not willing to play for food for people who don’t like him – and refuses the test.
In the tenth episode of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” Eric Stehfest, 32, and Peter Althof, 66, are elected to a jungle test. In the wild river they have the chance to earn eight stars. But it shouldn’t get that far. When asked if he wants to take this jungle test, Eric Stehfest suddenly exclaims: “‘I’m a star – get me out of here!'”.

The reason for his decision are the discussions in the last few days. “I’m not afraid, but there are people in the camp who freely say that they really hate me, hate my personality and have used my feelings to tell me stories,” explains the 32-year-old. “That’s why I’m not willing to play food for people who don’t like me. I don’t do that.” Although Eric is aware that Peter cannot take the exam alone, he does not care.
And what about the people he likes? “There are actually several, including people, who I thought were good for me, but they are not, that’s my decision,” the former GZSZ actor clarifies. And what does Peter Althof say about Eric’s decision? “I went here with him, then I have to declare my solidarity. Unless I can do it alone. If that’s not possible, I’ll go back with my warrior and discuss it with him again.”
GZSZ star refuses the deserved food
Eric Stehfest has consistently refused the deserved food in the last few days. “I haven’t eaten for many exams,” explains the actor. “I eat rice and drink water, that’s enough for me. Because that’s exactly what I don’t want. I don’t want to be obligated to bring people who aren’t good for me.” No sooner said than done – and the exam is over before it even begins. A premiere on the RTL show! “There’s always a first time for everything. We’ve never had that before,” says Sonja Zietlow, 53.

And otherwise the air in the jungle camp is getting thinner and thinner. The otherwise funny Peter Althof gets into an argument with Linda Nobat, 27. “In the film ‘Last Jungle Camp’ I would be the illuminator,” jokes the 66-year-old in the current episode. “Well, you’re not the brightest light now,” Linda replies. “I don’t want to say anything now, because if I say something, you’ll be offended,” countered the bodyguard and repeated, stunned: “I find that disrespectful. It’s below the belt when she says: ‘You’re stupid, you’re not her brightest light.'”
In the jungle phone, Peter finds clear words: “You should have respect for your age. It’s easy. You can make fun of everyone, but if you make the other person look stupid, that’s not good.” Linda’s statement was clearly “disrespectful” to him. Nevertheless, the 27-year-old tries to calm things down: “It was just for fun.” But Peter was visibly struck by her words. He sits by the campfire with a serious expression and grumbles: “And I’ve said everywhere that I find you so intelligent. I have to revise everything. Respect is important. I’m 66 and a young girl tells me that I’m not the brightest I’m light. That’s awesome.” Linda tries to explain herself further: “I was just joking and I thought you get the fun just as much as you make fun. It’s not that I think you’re stupid, I think you’re very intelligent Peter. It just wasn’t meant to be. I’m sorry.”
