On day eleven on “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” the empty stomachs of the stars initially caused resentment in the camp. The sole culprit was Eric Stehfest, 32, who had surprisingly refused the test the day before because he wanted to punish his fellow campers. After the hunger drama, a well-known German actress finally had to return home.

Eric’s refusal to take the exam continued to cause question marks in the camp. “I worked my ass off for seven days so we could get something to eat!” Linda Nobat, 26, ranted against the ex-“GZSZ” star. Filip Pavlovic, 27, who is not in good spirits with Eric anyway, agreed: “He’s a ticking time bomb. This is the real Eric. That’s no reason to fuck the whole group up!”

Tina Ruland (55) was the first to take the initiative and sought out a conversation with Eric. She asked him very directly, “Have I done anything wrong?” But Eric blocked: “No answer.” Anouschka Renzi, 57, and Harald Glööckler, 56, apparently agree: Eric planned the campaign from the start. “He wants to cause stress. That’s his plan,” Harald is sure. “Karma Strikes Back.”

Linda finally had enough and addressed Eric directly: “I would like to tell you a few things. I don’t understand you, but I would like to understand you.” Eric tried to explain the background to his action as follows: “I hate it when people make their mark and start telling stories about themselves just to be seen or heard. And today I just heard something from someone that that everything here is just a show and fake. And I’m out of there, Linda! It’s not okay for us to lie to people out there.”

A conversation with Harald clarified the situation: after his nonsense statement, the former “GZSZ” star doubted Harald’s credibility. “You shook me with that statement, whether I can trust and believe you or not,” said Eric. However, the designer assured him that he was not faking anything: “Never! I don’t do anything like that. […] I like you a lot too. I would never do anything against you!” The end of the song: a heartfelt hug.

Eric gives in – one is not convinced

At dinner in the group, Eric finally crouched: “I just wanted to tell you very briefly that I’m sorry that I didn’t take the exam today. It comes from the heart.” That drew a nod from most of his fellow campers. “That’s so beautiful!” said the enthusiastic Linda. “That’s very good!” said Harald.

Eric then addressed his jungle nemesis Filip and explained to him: “I would also get food for you if I got the chance again. Maybe we can get a little closer.” However, that did not convince the 27-year-old: “The trust is gone and he can’t wait with an apology for everything to be eaten,” Filip vented his anger on the jungle phone.

Since many stomachs were growling in the camp after a starless test, the majority chose the motivated Filip for the next jungle challenge from Daniel Hartwich, 43, and Sonja Zietlow, 53. He secured himself in the fight against monster cockroaches, crocodiles and Co. in the disgusting sewers eight out of eight stars – the redeeming message for the hungry stars.

At the end of the episode, the evaluation of the viewer calls was waiting for them again. Although Anouschka in particular wanted to go home, Tina got it on day eleven. For her, the adventure of the South African jungle ended.
