Pop star Justin Timberlake has officially confirmed when his new album Everything I Thought It Was will be available in stores.

After a six-year break, music star Justin Timberlake (42) has officially announced a new solo studio album for March 15th. “Everything I Thought It Was” will be available in stores on this date, Sony Music Germany announced. Today, January 25th, the first preview single for the recording was released. In the music video for the song “Selfish” Timberlake takes center stage.

Justin Timberlake is facing a busy week

It’s been almost exactly six years to the day since the ex-boyfriend of pop star Britney Spears (42) and husband of actress Jessica Biel (41) released the album “Man of the Woods”, which received a rather mixed reception. With his sixth full-length, “Everything I Thought It Was,” Timberlake says he offers “moments that are incredibly honest.” But there would be “a lot of fun on this album,” the star revealed According to Rolling Stone in an Apple Music interview about the release of his new single.

To promote his new music, Timberlake has set himself a tight schedule. The musician will be a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s (49) “Tonight Show” on Thursday evening (US time) and will appear on the legendary comedy program “Saturday Night Live” at the weekend. He will also play a free concert in New York City on January 31st.

Timberlake released a new song with his former *NSYNC colleagues last year. The track entitled “Better Place” appeared on the soundtrack to the animated film “Trolls 3 – Strong Together”. Many *NSYNC fans were hoping for a comeback from the iconic boy band. The fact that Timberlake then “only” announced his own new music angered some of his fans.
