Karate World Cup – Salzburg brought three medals from Hungary

Strong! The Salzburg participants at the World Championships in Shotokan Karate in Györ, Hungary, won silver twice and bronze once.

The kata specialist Vera Paar, who trains in Henndorf, was able to shine particularly well. She secured bronze behind two Japanese women in the individual age group 20 to 39. And then she added silver in the kata team with Henndorf colleague Ingrid Adler and Svenja Rainer from Vienna. The Straßwalchen talent Luca Brodinger, who won the silver medal in the juniors, provided the third precious metal in these successful title fights.
