Kate Upton: husband Justin donates his salary in the corona crisis

Big gesture from Justin Verlander (37) and his wife Kate Upton (27): The baseball professional, who plays in the American league MLB, and the model want to donate his paycheck weekly completely for the coming time. The couple announced this on Instagram.

A new aid organization every week

"We have just found out that MLB will issue us our paychecks in the coming months," says Verlander. "My wife and I decided to donate this money to a different organization every week to support their efforts and highlight their great work during the Covid 19 crisis," he says.

The two want to announce weekly who they will donate to. According to a report by the US celebrity portal "TMZ", this should be a huge amount. If Upton and Verlander go through with the action, the estimated figure will be around $ 5 million in two months alone. That would be equivalent to more than 4.6 million euros.

Verlander and Upton have been dating since 2014. In November 2017, they said yes. About a year later, their daughter Genevieve was born.
