Katie Price was on trial this Wednesday after being in a drugged car accident. She was given a suspended sentence.

Katie Price, 43, was sentenced to 16 weeks suspended sentence, 100 hours of social service and 20 therapy sessions in a court in Crawley, West Sussex this Wednesday (December 15). That reports among other things “The Sun”. In addition, the model’s driving ban was extended by two years.

The British woman drove off the road in her car on September 28, under the influence of cocaine and alcohol and without a license. She was not seriously injured in the accident, and other people were not involved. “I took drugs, I shouldn’t have been allowed to drive, I’ll admit everything,” she said to the police after the accident.

At an earlier court hearing, Price had been threatened with jail time. “When you decided that night to get behind the wheel, you did not think of others, you could have killed someone,” said the judge, according to “The Sun” when the verdict was pronounced. The model could consider herself lucky not to have to spend Christmas in prison.
