Because at the National Diversity Awards in Liverpool, the model makes an unusual appearance: Katie Price wears a bandage on her head on stage.

Because of course everyone present is staring at her turban, Katie speaks directly to the elephant in the room. “Hello everyone. I know I look like this but I couldn’t let my son down on this special occasion because he’s nominated for an award,” Katie reportedly said on stage, according to Mirror.uk. Her son Harvey won the Celebrity of the Year award.

Actually, the bandage also went around her chin, but it drove her crazy. That’s why she cut them off, as she reveals in an Instagram live on the way to the awards. She was spotted wearing it just a few days earlier and at the time her eyes were still blue from the procedure. But the 43-year-old was able to cover that up pretty well with a concealer.

Allegedly, Katie already has further surgical plans – in Turkey. Rumor has it that she wants to make improvements there because she is dissatisfied with some of the results of previous interventions. A friend of hers told The Sun: “Katie tells everyone she thinks her breast implants make her look fat and she wants them removed.” Is that really true?
