Katja Bienert (55) lost her husband three weeks ago. Donald Gardner died of a heart attack at the age of 66. Like the actress, who became known among other things with the doctor series “Praxis Bülowbogen”, now all in one Interview with the “Bild” newspaper revealed, she said goodbye to her late husband in a very unconventional way.
“Don was breathing badly in the morning. I wanted to take him to the hospital, but he didn’t want to. He drank an apple juice, I brought the glass to the kitchen. When I came back, Don was no longer breathing,” says Bienert.
Lying next to a dead man for eight hours
The actress called the emergency doctor, who only found her husband’s death. According to “Bild”, Bienert then asked to leave her husband with her in the apartment. “I lay next to my dead husband for eight hours, stroking and kissing him. I wish so much that he could still feel it. I felt as if I was going to die after my husband.”
Why her husband died. Bienert is still a mystery to this day: Don was very healthy, he did not smoke or drink. I don’t understand why they didn’t order an autopsy. “
Katja Bienert was seen in various soft sex films as a teenager. In 1987 she played in “Praxis Bülowbogen”. In 2016 she moved to the USA. There she was temporarily missing, and because of trespassing and an expired visa, she was in custody for deportation in a prison run by the immigration authorities. In 2018 she will return to her hometown of Berlin with her American husband.
