In addition to “John Wick: Chapter 4”, Keanu Reeves will also appear in the film offshoot “Ballerina”. It is his fifth appearance as John Wick.

The “John Wick” franchise will continue next year with the fourth installment in the series “John Wick: Chapter 4”. In addition, the spin-off film “Ballerina” with Ana de Armas (34) in the leading role is currently being produced in the Czech capital of Prague. As the US magazine “Collider” reports, “John Wick” star Keanu Reeves (58) will also take part in the offshoot of the contract killer embodied by de Armas. According to the report, the superstar is currently in Prague to slip back into his legendary role as a powerful killer.

How big will Keanu Reeves’ appearance in the film offshoot “Ballerina” be?

It’s still unclear how big Keanu Reeves’ part in “Ballerina” will be. The star could just make a cameo appearance – or take on a larger role in the action film. In addition to Reeves, British actor Ian McShane (80) will also return for “Ballerina”. In the world of the “John Wick” franchise, McShane mimics the character Winston Scott, the manager of the hotel The Continental, where the hit men portrayed often congregate.

“Ballerina”, “John Wick: Chapter 4” and the prequel series “The Continental”

“Ballerina” will be set in the same world as the “John Wick” films. Details of the plot are not yet known. After “James Bond 007: No Time to Die”, leading actress de Armas again takes on an action role in the spin-off film. Len Wiseman (49) is directing. “John Wick: Chapter 4” will be released in US cinemas in March 2023.

In addition, the prequel series “The Continental” will also be published next year. It is set before events in the film series and revolves around the history of the eponymous hotel. Colin Woodell (30) embodies a younger Winston Scott in “The Continental”. In Germany, the miniseries will be shown on Amazon Prime Video. There is no start date yet.
