To put an end to all the bad rumors, the public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan, Olivier Janson, gave details of the investigation during a press conference relayed by BFMTV Thursday April 25, 2024. According to the prosecutor, the singer would have “simulated” a suicide after an argument with his partner, while he was very drunk.

At the time of the shooting which injured Kendji Girac in the chest, the public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan revealed that the blood samples taken on Monday April 22, 2024 indicated an alcohol level “estimated at 2.5g/l of blood” at 5 a.m. Moreover, “the presence of a metabolite confirms cocaine consumption” around 2 a.m.explained Olivier Janson.
The singer’s companion, Soraya Miranda, gave herself up to investigators and her words were repeated by the prosecutor.
