Kerbal Space Program 2 will take off on February 24, 2023 in early access

Announced more than three years ago, Kerbal Space Program 2 experienced some upheavals in its development. Expected however for the beginning of the year 2020, the title has been regularly postponed. Take-Two Interactive and its Private Division label withdrew the project from the hands of Star Theory to entrust it to a new internal studio, Intercept Games, still composed of several former developers. A few years later, the space simulation game finds a take-off date set in 2023.

PS4 and Xbox One versions canceled

The space simulation game will go through early access scheduled for early next year, priced at €49.99. Console versions will follow, once all updates are rolled out. Now fixed on new generation, the title seems logically to abandon the old generation machines, a natural choice since the final launch does not yet have a date.

Building on the foundations of the first installment that wowed players and the press, this new installment will bring more things to do, with more than 350 new and improved parts, a revamped interface, a more affordable experience to welcome newcomers, new tools like time warp and more.

See you on February 24, 2023 for the arrival in early access of Kerbal Space Program 2 on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will also come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series when the final version rolls out.
