While one role used to chase the next, Kevin Costner is now concentrating on his family.

Things have calmed down around actor Kevin Costner (67). The reason for this is apparently his second wife Christine Baumgartner (47). “She made me a gentle teddy bear”, says Costner of “Bild am Sonntag”. The family go surfing, hiking or [wir] invite the neighbors over”.

Life in the celebrity stronghold of Los Angeles is no longer for him. Today the Hollywood star lives not far away in Santa Barbara. He can also take it easy when it comes to his job: “I’m financially independent and no longer dependent on studio bosses who want to force me into genres.”

His family is always there

When the award-winning actor is not at home but on the road on business, his family is always there. “I don’t travel without her anymore,” says Costner.

He has children Cayden Wyatt (born 2007), Hayes Logan (born 2009) and Grace Avery (born 2010) with his wife Christine Baumgartner. The actor is the father of seven children, including Annie (37), Lily (35) and Joe Costner (33) from his first marriage to Cindy Costner (65). Son Liam Costner (born 1996) comes from another relationship.

Although the Oscar winner is now focused on his family, Kevin Costner has continued to be an actor and director. Among other things, he has been seen in the western series “Yellowstone” since 2018. Costner celebrated his breakthrough in Hollywood in the late 1980s alongside Sean Connery (1930-2020) and Robert De Niro (78) in the thriller “The Untouchables”.
