Kevin Spacey: Two men file lawsuits against the actor

Now the judge decides: Two men have filed a lawsuit against Kevin Spacey. He had sexually abused her as a minor.

Is it possibly getting serious for Kevin Spacey (61)? As reported by the "New York Times", among others, two men sued the US actor for alleged sexual offenses in the 1980s. At the time of the offense in question, both were minors. One of the plaintiffs is fellow actor Anthony Rapp (48, "Star Trek: Discovery"), who is now having his allegations examined by a court. The name of the other alleged victim is not yet known.

The lawsuit is now with the Supreme Court of New York, it is said to be two independent acts. Rapp confirms his allegations from 2017 that Spacey first invited him to a party in 1986. Rapp was 14 years old at the time. There the two-time Oscar winner is said to have groped him, lifted him onto his bed and then laid down on him. Rapp was able to free himself and leave the apartment. As a result of the act, he suffered psychological damage that was of a permanent nature.

The other victim was also only 14 years old

The lawsuit goes on to say that Spacey first met the victim as a teacher in an acting group when he was only 12 years old. Another meeting is said to have taken place two years later. From then on, Spacey invited the young person to his home several times and "involved him in sexual acts". This boy said "no" to Spacey several times. Since the deeds, he too has suffered from the psychological consequences of the attacks.

So far, Spacey or his lawyers have not commented on the new allegations. Around three years ago, Spacey responded to Rapp's accusation and apologized to him. He could not remember the situation, but if it did, it was "deeply inappropriate behavior in a drunken state". At the same time, Spacey came out as homosexual and announced a little later that he would seek therapeutic treatment.

Kevin Spacey has not yet been convicted

Shortly after Rapp's first statement, several other men accused Spacey of having been sexually molested by him as well. However, two charges did not result in conviction and were dropped for different reasons. The "House of Cards" star has since been considered a "persona non grata" in Hollywood. Among other things, Netflix canceled the contract with Spacey, and his role was cut out of the movie "Alles Geld der Welt" (2017).
