Together they are said to have a fortune of over two billion dollars, now rapper Kanye West (43, "Ye") and reality TV star Kim Kardashian (40) are divorcing. A spokesman for Kardashian has confirmed a corresponding "TMZ" report, according to media reports. So far it does not look like a war of the roses, the ex-couple want to share custody of the four children they have together, a marriage contract regulates the division of the property. Even so, the separation of the two stars could still make for plenty of headlines – if Kim Kardashian unpacks about the failure of the relationship on television. She has plenty of opportunity to do so.
The 40-year-old shot the last episodes of the reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" about the Kardashian-Jenner family in January – around the same time as the first rumors of her impending divorce were making the rounds. According to "Mirror," the cameras followed Kardashian for the final nine months of their marriage. According to the report, the fact that Kanye West also speaks about the end of the marriage is "rather unlikely". He has appeared on the show since 2013, but not as the lead actor.
New show – with divorce information?
After the end of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", the famous family around Kardashian mother Kris Jenner (65) will move to the streaming service Hulu. A first show should be planned for the end of the year, so far it is still unclear what content can be seen in it. Is Kim Kardashian unpacking about the divorce here too? Or will Kanye West try to get her divorce negotiations to stop his ex from chatting publicly about the breakup?
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had been dating since 2012. In May 2014 they said yes. Their marriage had four children: North, 7, Saint (5), Chicago (3) and Psalm (1).
