Does King Frederik have to tremble now? After his alleged lover Genoveva Casanova deleted her Instagram account in January, the profile has now been activated again.
The last weeks of 2023 plunged the Danish royal family into a deep crisis. At the beginning of November, the Spanish newspaper “Lecturas” published photos of the then prince Frederik alongside Genoveva Casanova, 47, in Madrid. The 55-year-old is said to have even stayed overnight with the Mexican celebrity. Explosive headlines that Casanova immediately denied, while the Danish court has stoically ignored the rumors of an alleged affair between the new king to this day.

After Genoveva Casanova emphasized that “any such claim is not only completely untrue, but also that the facts have been maliciously distorted,” she also published a legal letter on her Instagram account, announcing that she would take legal action against the reporting. She then withdrew from the public eye and went into hiding with, among others, her ex-husband Cayetano Martínez de Irujo, 60, current Count of Salvatierra and Duke of Arjona. “I’m trying to withdraw and I don’t talk to anyone about anything, even if others say otherwise,” the former model finally said to journalist Beatriz Cortazar in January, according to “Semana” – and deleted her Instagram account “genoveva_casanova_official” a little later “.
