Kingdom Hearts: the release of the series on Switch and the 20th Anniversary Event dated

Series Kingdom Hearts saw its main episodes ported to Xbox One and PC recently, but for technical reasons, its arrival on Switch did not seem assured. Square-Enix made a half-hearted announcement on this subject last October: it will land on the laptop of nintendo, but in Cloud Version.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind cannot be purchased physically or played without an online connection. Each compilation will be sold for €39.99 (discounted at €31.99 at launch) and grouped in a pack Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud at €89.99 (€71.99 at launch). If you are interested in these versions, their release date has just been set for February 10, 2022. And if you have any doubts about the technical qualities or the stability of these editions in clouds, demos are already available on theeShop.

Otherwise, the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary Event which will come to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the franchise has also been dated. It will take place in Tokyo on April 10, and will allow you to discover “a mini concert, a discussion and questions and answers with the development team, an exhibition and much more”. Square-Enix also specifies that a “video of the event will be available later”, with the understanding that there will be no live: it does not smell good big announcements, but who knows.

Kingdom Hearts III is apart from that available from €8.79 on Amazon.co.uk.
