(CercleFinance.com) – KKR announced the creation of a new medical platform with Hologic, a global leader in health and medical technology innovation.
The new platform is named Maverix Medical, Maverix will develop and acquire innovative technologies and carry out commercial operations in the field of lung cancer.
‘Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide. Every year, more people die from lung cancer than from colon, breast and prostate cancers combined,’ the group points out.
Serpex Medical is developing innovative technology that can precisely target lung tissue for biopsy or treatment delivery.
