The emergency call reaches the operations center shortly after 4 a.m.: A man is lying on the road on the A11 motorway near Kloten.
As can be seen on site, the man was hit by a vehicle on the highway. The person was seriously injured in the accident. According to the police, final identification has not yet been possible. The casualty was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
How and for what reasons the stranger got onto the autobahn is now being clarified by Kapo Zurich and the public prosecutor’s office. (cat)
