If you are traveling with komoot, you can use live tracking so friends or family know where you are at the moment. This is how you use the function.
The touring app komoot is popular with outdoor fans, whether for hiking or cycling. The platform now offers komoot Premium, a paid subscription that you can use to unlock many additional functions.
One function of komoot Premium is the so-called live tracking. You can use it to share your current whereabouts with others. Especially when you are traveling in an unfamiliar environment, the feature can create additional security.
But live tracking is also useful if you want to meet up with others for a bike ride. This way you can see where your tour partner is at the moment.
To activate live tracking, you can plan and start a tour in komoot. Alternatively, the function can also be activated in the settings. We show you both variants below.
To disable live tracking, toggle the toggle within settings or your tour navigation as described above so that it turns gray again.
