In order to complete its catalog of connected bulbs and lights, Konyks is launching its Antalya Style range, vintage filament bulbs capable of diffusing warm and cold white and connecting via Bluetooth or wifi.
All connected bulb and lighting players have joined the big trend of retro filament bulbs. In turn, Konyks is following suit with its Antalya Style range with an E27 base. This pack of two LED filament bulbs can be connected via Bluetooth or direct Wi-Fi (i.e. without having to use a connection bridge connected to the home’s Internet box). This dual connectivity, which we have already seen at work on the latest ranges of bulbs from Philips Hue or Wiz, for example, allows anyone to equip themselves with connected lights, including for less tech-savvy users. Indeed, Bluetooth pairing is simpler and faster than wifi, even if this technology quickly shows its limits, since it is not possible to activate and control your bulbs in a field greater than 20 Mr. For its part, wifi offers more possibilities than Bluetooth: wider field of action, creation of scenarios, simulation of presence when no one is at home, management of an entire fleet of light bulbs, etc.
The Antalya Style range is able to diffuse warm white (2700 K) or cold (6500 K) depending on the atmosphere that the user wishes to create or the room in which the bulb will be installed. Cold white is recommended in kitchen or office type rooms when warm white is better suited to a bedroom or living room. The heat of the lighting is therefore adjustable from the application to which the bulbs are connected. In this respect, moreover, the functionalities deployed in the application are numerous: it is possible to create operating schedules, to automatically turn off the lights at sunrise or to turn them on at sunset to save money, to program presence simulation scenarios or even to use it for a progressive light awakening.
