Kevin Bacon tried to give his wife an intimate waxing during lockdown. That went painfully wrong, as Kyra Sedgwick said.
Kyra Sedgwick (55, "The Closer") has developed a special appreciation for professional waxing during lockdown. This is based on an experience with her husband Kevin Bacon (62, "I Love Dick"), which Sedgwick retold on Tuesday on the show by Jimmy Kimmel (53). "At some point I realized that I needed a bikini waxing," said the actress about the spontaneous depilation of her genital area. She would have thought: "How difficult can that be?"
Since Bacon was otherwise quite good at many things, she had assumed that he would do well in this area as well. That was not the case, however, as she now told Kimmel, laughing: "There were moments when I thought: 'I thought you knew how to do it! My God, what are you doing?' And he said, 'I didn't say I knew how to do this. You said I know how to do this!' "
The 55-year-old also explained what exactly went wrong: "You have to use a small piece of cloth. If it is too big, you tear off too much hair and that is excruciating. And if you do not tear it off in the right direction, it will it won't come off. And if you can't pull it off, you'll have to call 911. " Judging by her laugh, an extreme emergency did not come about – but it is out of the question that Bacon may try his hand at being a waxing expert again.
