Saturday 1er January, at midday, a woman tried to end her life by jumping from the Ile de Ré bridge, in front of motorists and passers-by.
A rescue device, involving in particular the Civil Security helicopter Dragon 17, was immediately deployed to find the victim.
Despite a fall of about twenty meters, it was recovered, unscathed.
