The La Rochelle Fiction Festival is in full swing until Sunday September 18 and was marked by the arrival of Isabelle Adjani, star of the mini-series by Josée Dayan, soon on France 2.
The essential Isabelle Adjani created the event again when she came to the La Rochelle Fiction Festival, to present the mini-series in which she plays the title role of “Diane de Poitiers”, famous mistress of Henri II, soon to be broadcast on France 2 and directed by Josée Dayan. The actress will be surrounded by many prestigious names in French cinema, such as Samuel Labarthe, Virginie Ledoyen, Joey Starr, Hugo Becker and Gérard Depardieu… who will lend his features to Nostradamus.

Films in period costume, Isabelle Adjani has already known some, including “Queen Margot”, which she had sublimated. In the shoes of Diane de Poitiershuntress emeritus, mistress of the monarch Henry II, the actress has again the leading role, for two 100-minute episodes which required the presence of many extras, wandering between the Renaissance Pavilion and the town hall square of the town of Septmonts, in the Aisne. The series, scheduled for 2021 on France 3 had been delayed, and will finally be broadcast at the end of 2022, on France 2.
