According to US media reports, Lady Gaga's dog sitter was shot while walking. Two dogs were subsequently abducted.

The dog sitter of singer Lady Gaga (34, "A Star Is Born") was attacked on Wednesday night (around 10 p.m. local time) in Los Angeles, including the US portal "TMZ", citing police sources reported. The 30-year-old man is said to have been shot in the attack, the shooter then took two of Lady Gaga's three dogs with him. One of the French Bulldogs escaped and was later found safe.

Lady Gaga's bodyguard is said to have taken care of the rescued dog afterwards, the singer is currently in Rome for filming. The dog sitter should already be on the mend. The exact reason for the attack is not known. It has also not yet been determined whether the wanted perpetrator knew that it was Lady Gaga's dogs. A spokesman for the singer confirmed to the US magazine "People" that the dogs were Koji and Gustav. The singer offers 500,000 US dollars (around 409,000 euros) for information and advice on the attack.
