(CercleFinance.com) – The Board of Directors of the Company, which met today, appointed an ad hoc Committee from among its members. This follows the proposed public takeover bid announced by Vivendi.
The ad hoc Committee is made up of Mrs. Véronique Morali, independent member, also appointed Chairman of the ad hoc Committee, Mrs. Valérie Bernis, independent member, Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy, independent member, Mr. Pascal Jouen, member representing the employees, Mr. Arnaud Lagardère, Chairman Managing Director of the Company.
The Board of Directors will meet again in the coming days to appoint, on the recommendation of the ad hoc Committee, an independent expert.
The Board of Directors also took note of the resignation of Mr. Joseph Oughourlian from his mandate as director.
