(Boursier.com) — Jérôme Béglé becomes Chief Editorial Officer of Paris Match while Geoffroy Lejeune is appointed Chief Editorial Officer of ‘JDD’, announced Arnaud Lagardère, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the group Lagardere.
Previously, Geoffroy Lejeune was Editorial Director of the weekly Valeurs Actuelles.

“After beginning his career at Le Point in 2009, he was recruited by Valeurs Actuelles, where he became deputy editor-in-chief of the political department, then editor-in-chief of the political department in 2015 before being appointed editorial director in 2016 at just 27 years old, becoming the youngest French editorial director. He managed to turn this title around by infusing it with a new editorial line, made up of biases and iconic investigations. This strategy has enabled the title to regain its good economic health. “He also knew how to take the editorial teams beyond the paper to decline the support in a digital and event-driven way”, explains the Lagardère company.

At the ‘JDD’, Geoffroy Lejeune’s mission will be to embody journalistic excellence, namely: the facts, the investigation, the duty to inform.

Geoffroy Lejeune has also collaborated regularly with several audiovisual editorial staff throughout his career and in a remarkable way, such as with Public Sénat, i-télé, Europe 1, Sud-Radio, CNews, LCI, RTL or BFM TV…
