Lance-Dur puts himself forward in the new season of Waven

The new season of Waven has just begun, placed under the protective aegis of Count Lance-Dur. The start of a new adventure which sees the arrival of a new game mode, additional content and unique challenges. Ankama takes the opportunity to review its Battle Pass, the progression in it, and its impact in the game. Changes and improvements that are good while the game is still in Early Access.

Divided into three chapters, the Hard Throw season marks the start of PvE competition on Waven. An island containing a time portal has opened at sea, allowing you to participate in challenges with new mechanics. Each participation allows you to collect a certain number of points, which are then visible throughout the world on the general ranking. At the end of the period, the 100 best players will receive many rewards. But the other participants will also be able to console themselves with fragments of Wakfu.

This competition begins on October 24, with chapter 1: Wax Momore. This immortal being will be the first of 3 challenges awaiting players this season. He will be followed on November 17 by Belladonna and his poisonous charisma, before taking a trip to Albuera in December. This chaptered narrative is planned to last until mid-January.

A fairer and more enjoyable Battle Pass

Obviously, in addition to all the content planned for the season, the Battle Pass takes the opportunity to get a makeover. From now on, you no longer have to complete quests to progress, but accomplish objectives. These allow you to earn between 10 and 50 stars and are renewed every week. A renewal which is accompanied by an enhancement of the Gold Pass with the addition of numerous rewards in its tiers. All that remains is to enter the competition to obtain Albuera’s equipment.
