Landes: a CRS from Pau dies crushed by a train in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul

This Friday, January 21, a man, a member of the CRS of Pau, threw himself in front of a train at the level crossing of the commune of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul. Traffic has gradually been restored

A tragedy occurred this Friday, January 21 at the level crossing of the town of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, route du Marensin. Between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., a man walked to the edge of the tracks and waited for the train to pass before throwing himself. The gendarmerie went on the spot, in order to proceed to the observations and to contact the funeral directors. The man was part of the Republican Security Companies (CRS) of Pau.

On the traffic side, four TERs were retained and the TGVs were also stopped, but traffic was gradually restored at the start of the evening.
