More than two years after the events, two people have been indicted for poisoning, including the victim’s mother
An 18-year-old girl died on November 13, 2019 “in suspicious circumstances”, revealed this Friday, January 21, the Mont-de-Marsan prosecutor’s office, more than two years after the events. “In view of the first investigations carried out, a judicial investigation was opened by the prosecution at the Mont-de-Marsan investigation center, under the criminal qualification of poisoning”, indicates a press release, which specifies that the day before, Thursday , two people were presented to the investigating judge, after forty-eight hours in police custody.
One of these two people is none other than the victim’s mother. In accordance with what the investigating judge and the requisitions of the prosecution requested, she was placed in pre-trial detention.
The public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan, Olivier Janson, will hold a press conference about this case this Friday, January 21, at 4:30 p.m., at the Mons courthouse.
