Every family has them, the legendary stories that connect the generations. Anecdotes that are always told. Nobody can evade the family, in fact, hardly anything shapes you more than they do. In this context, a new theater project starts today, Friday, at the Landestheater.
No matter if sad or happy, quiet or loud moments. Family conveys attitudes towards life, is the stage for great emotions. In the world of the family we live, argue and love. Nothing is as close as family, whether we are hurt or empowered. But what does family mean anyway? What makes a happy, strong family?
The newly founded collective “We Are Family” deals with these topics as part of the theater project “Family Evening”. The focus is on the personal experiences of the drama ensemble. In addition to pointed, touching stories and musical elements, famous personalities from various social areas also take their places on the family couch at every performance. It all starts with cabaret artist, author and actor Michael Niavarani. Other guests include: the actors Gregor Bloeb, Ronja Forcher and ORF presenter Fanny Stapf.
The premiere is on October 1st, further dates until spring 2022
