On Sunday evening, the emergency services were required in the Salzburg train station district: A fire broke out in the basement of a high-rise building on Karl-Wurmb-Strasse, and the building was then heavily smoked.
The professional fire brigade managed to quickly locate the source of the fire in the building – the Floriani extinguished the fire promptly. A total of eight injured people were handed over to the Red Cross in the incident.
