Jean-Pierre Foucault has been at the presentation of Miss France since 1995. On December 4, 2010, he was on the set of TF1 to crown Laury Thilleman, Miss France 2011. Years later, the young woman became a television presenter and went on to appear on shows, particularly variety shows. During an interview on Friday December 15, 2023, she admitted, however, that presenting Miss France would please her enormously. “So, be careful, far be it from me to take the place of Jean-Pierre Foucault because it is irreplaceable”, she clarifies. “But why not one day, be the guide for all those who embark on this adventure.” But for the host, it is impossible to follow in the footsteps of this emblematic figure of the competition without distancing ourselves from him. “In any case, if I did it, and if Jean-Pierre Foucault were to bow out, I wouldn’t want to be a copy of him, because he is inimitable“, she admitted. “But maybe find a new formula to host the Miss France competition in a different way and in my own waywhy not.”
Laury Thilleman has plans in her head
We can say that Laury Thilleman does not lack ambition. When asked what professional projects would motivate her in the future, the presenter thinks big. “I would love to be able to recreate a typical show Stars at home”, she confides. “Be the guide, enter into the intimacy of these artistswhether to go meet their fans or integrate myself into their tour bus, on these tours which are truly essential moments of contact with their audience.
