(Boursier.com) — Lauxera Capital Partners announces today the appointment of Victor Decrion as Partner. Victor Decrion was previously a partner at Five Arrows Principal Investments, the mid-market fund of Rothschild & Co Merchant Banking, where he focused on investments in the healthcare sector. He joined Rothschild & Co in 2008 to participate in the creation of Five Arrows, which manages the private equity activities of Rothschild & Co. A graduate of HEC, Sciences Po Paris and the WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management (Koblenz, Germany), he practiced business law in New York and Paris before joining Rothschild & Co.

Victor Decrion, newly appointed Partner of Lauxera Capital Partners, said: “Since our first meeting in 2019, even before the actual launch of Lauxera, I have been impressed by the founding team and their vision. It brings together many qualities that are sometimes lacking in the teams of investors, namely real operational experience as leaders of health companies, a truly transatlantic organization and a fierce desire to find the most innovative and attractive companies in the healthtech value chain .I am thrilled to partner with them to continue this mission.”
Pierre Moustial, President and co-founder of Lauxera Capital Partners concluded: “Victor brings a long experience in healthcare investment, acquired in one of the best private equity funds in the market. He immediately believed in Lauxera and we have interacted with him regularly over the past few years. We look forward to working with him to accelerate the development of our healthtech franchises in both private equity and the public company segment.”

The arrival of a fifth Partner is part of the very strong momentum recorded by Lauxera in recent months as a transatlantic management company specializing in healthtech. To date, Lauxera Capital Partners has already invested in 8 companies 50% of its first private equity fund, Lauxera Growth I (endowed with 260 million euros), and announced last November the launch of Lauxera HealthTech, a thematic Sicav of international actions supporting the strong growth of the medical technologies market at the heart of the transformation of health systems.
To date, Lauxera Capital Partners employs 11 investment professionals and intends to continue recruiting this year. It now has its registered office at 41 avenue de Friedland 75008 Paris.
