Cardi B and her husband Offset are said to have trashed a house in Beverly Hills and not paid the entire rent.

Cardi B (31) and Offset (32) apparently have to answer in court. The two musicians, who are now separated, are said to be being sued in a rental matter, as “TMZ” reports, citing court documents. The ex-couple had lived in a house in Beverly Hills since the beginning of 2022, but moved out of the house in October without giving notice. According to the landlord, they were behind on rent and utilities.

In addition, the owners are said to have discovered “significant material damage” in the house after moving out, including scratches in the tiled floors, broken furniture and holes in the walls. The damage is said to amount to around 85,000 US dollars (around 77,000 euros).

At the beginning of December, Cardi B confirmed her separation from her husband in a live stream on Instagram. This was unanimously reported by numerous US media outlets. “I’ve recently been single again,” she revealed the news to her followers in the stream. It was very difficult for her to make the separation public, but now the time has come. The musician said: “I just didn’t know how to tell the world.” Three days ago, many fans noticed that the rapper and the Migos member no longer followed each other on social media. The rumors of a breakup spread quickly.

End of an on-off relationship

This isn’t the first time the two stars have split up. In 2018, there were rumors that Offset had cheated on his wife – and they separated shortly afterwards. Only a short time later, however, the two found each other again.

Offset and Cardi B only became a couple at the beginning of 2017, and the wedding finally followed in September 2017. Their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus was born in July 2018.
