The transfer window is moving fast and showing no mercy to all players, which Park “Summit” Woo-tae is learning the hard way. Barely voted LCS Split MVP, the toplaner was thanked by his Cloud9 structure, and is looking for a new team. However, while revealing on stream to be in contact with Misfits, it would seem that the discussions did not go further.
Indeed, according to LEC_Wooloo, the structure aurit decided to make a swap between his academy and his main team. In difficulty during the Spring Split, Shin “HiRit” Tae-min would therefore be relegated to Misfits Premier side while Joel “Irrelevant” Miro Scharoll would move up to the LEC. This would be a first for the German top laner in the European major league, he who has performed well in the LFL since his arrival in 2021.

Shlatan too was promoted from Misfits Premier last offseason, the trend continueshttps://t.co/vMsYD0EJNz

However, one can think that Summit joining Misfits would have really allowed Misfits to compete with the top teams in the league. We will never know but we can trust the structure that manages its rookies well including Lucjan “Shlatan” Ahmadelected Rookie of the Split, while the public doubted the player’s ability to win. We are now waiting to see the formalization of this change and Irrelevant’s first game in the LEC on June 17.
On his side, Hirit should reunite with another LEC player stripped of his position, Nikolai “Zanzarah” Akatovannounced within the academy of Misfits for the Summer Split.
