Leni Klum reveals in an interview that she was extremely cool with her first big catwalk show for Dolce & Gabbana.

At the end of August, Leni Klum (17) walked across the market square in Venice with a crown adorned with Svarowski stones for the Alta Moda show by Dolce & Gabbana. It was her first walk down the catwalk, but the young model wasn’t nervous, as now the “Elle” betrayed: “To be honest, I wasn’t that excited. I just improvised,” says Heidi Klum’s (48) daughter.

In the audience sat Hollywood celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez (52), Sean Combs (52), Kris Jenner (66), Kourtney Kardashian (42), Christian Bale (47), Helen Mirren (76) … Nevertheless, Klum only made them Crown: “I was afraid it would fall off, so they ended up sewing it into my hair.”

First shoot at GNTM

Of course, Klum found her passion for modeling through her model mom, as she also explains in the interview. Even as a little girl, she wanted to imitate her mom in the photo shoots that she accompanied her to. At twelve she expressed her wish, but “my mother would not allow it” – she was still too young. Her first photo shoot then took place at “Germany’s Next Topmodel”. There the models had to jump from a building and pose in the air – which Leni really wanted to try. This time she was allowed.

Besides modeling, Leni Klum also has a lot to do: she has a fashion line for About You, plants trees in Mexico, and wants to attend fashion or art school in New York. For her career, she has skipped one or two school lessons – but it would have been worth it, according to Klum.
