Léo Matteï on TF1: good news for fans of the series with Jean-Luc Reichmann

A few months after the broadcast of the season 10 finale, Jean-Luc Reichmann announced that “Léo Mattei”, the detective series of which he is the star, will return for a new season 11.

On April 20, season 10 of Léo Matteï ended on TF1 with the broadcast of a double final episode entitled “Jade’s secret“, in which Matteï (Jean-Luc Reichmann), Inès (Lola Dubini), Jonathan (Alexandre Achdjian) and the others led the investigation in the world of sport.

A complex affair for our heroes which had allowed viewers to find many familiar faces since these last two opuses welcomed Mimie Mathy (Joséphine, guardian angel), Philippe Bas (Profiling), Avy Marciano (Plus belle la vie), Diane Robert ( Under the sun) and Dembo Camilo (Here it all begins). And since the broadcast of these episodes, the future of Léo Matteï was in suspense… until today.

Léo Mattéï back for season 11?

In an interview with our colleagues from Entertainment TV during the Monte-Carlo TV Festival, Jean-Luc Reichmann announced that the detective series would be back on TF1 for season 11.

Yes, there will be a new season of Léo Matteï with this new brigade. It took very well“explained the comedian. “We started again with a season of Léo Matteï with a superb brigade, Lola Dubini and Stomy Bugsy. We’ve created a real family and apparently viewers are buying into it..”

Jean-Luc Reichmann also confided that he was trying to convince TF1 to offer additional episodes for this eleventh season. “We are in talks with TF1. We usually had 6 episodes of 52 minutes, and here we may be going up the slider so much the viewers liked it. There is a real enthusiasm for what has become of this brigade.”

Contacted by Télé Loisirs, TF1 confirmed the good news. Jean-Luc Reichmann will therefore be back for a new burst of episodes which is already in writing. Lola Dubini and Stomy Bugsy, who respectively play Lieutenant Inès Salma and Commissioner Daguerre, will also be there.

Audiences always in good shape

On the audience side, the finale of season 10 of Léo Mattéï brought together 4.11 million viewers, i.e. 20.8% of the public aged four and over and 16.1% of Women in charge of purchasing aged under 50 (FRDA -50).

The first episodes had attracted 4.33 million curious people (23.7% of the general public and 18.8% of FRDA-50) while episodes episodes 3 and 4 had convinced 4.39 million of viewers (22.5% of the public and only 15.7% of FRDA-50).

The detective series worn by Jean-Luc Reichmann has thus enabled TF1 to become the leader in audiences for the general public even if the scores are a little low on the FRDA-50 target, favored by advertisers, where it is preceded by M6 and the program Beijing Express.
