Season 4 of the series “Les Bracelets rouge” starts this evening on TF1. Who are Léo Lorleac’h, Noé Wodecki, Esther Blanc, Kali Boisson, Noah Deric and Maxime Pipet, the teenagers of this new generation? Focus on their journey.

After three years of absence, the phenomenon series Les Bracelets rouges returns this Monday, September 11 at 9:10 p.m. on TF1 with a new season 4 in the form of a reboot, which now follows the journey of a new group of teenagers within the Leonardo da Vinci hospital in Arcachon.

Exit Audran Cattin, Tom Rivoire, Louna Espinosa, Azize Diabate, Marius Blivet, Mona Berard and Hanane El Yousfi, the interpreters of Thomas, Clément, Roxane, Mehdi, Côme, Louise and Nour, who have come a long way since the season 3 in 2020 and do not reappear in these new episodes.

Léo Lorléac’h (Benji)

The vocation of Léo Lorléac’h for the cinema came to him at the age of eight, when he watched for the first time the Yves Robert film The War of the Buttons.

“My father introduced me to it at the media library and I loved it”explains the young actor to our microphone. “Coincidentally, at the same time, there was a casting call for The New Button War. So I sent a photo to pass the casting, I was not taken, but, without really knowing how, my photo circulated throughout Paris. So I was called back for a casting that had nothing to do with it, and since that day, and my first role in 2013, I haven’t stopped acting.”.

From then on, Léo Lorléac’h played roles in Now or Never, Men in the Shadows, The Taste of Wonders, Quadras, After Me Happiness, Marguerite and Julien, Alex Hugo, and even Sam. In 2022, he is starring in the comedy King, in which he comes to the aid, with Lou Lambrecht, of a lion cub threatened by a dire fate. And it was finally in 2023 that he landed his first central role in a series by becoming one of the new protagonists of the Red Bracelets.

He lends his features to Benji, a teenager suffering from a degenerative illness which forces him to remain confined to an armchair. “It was very strong to play this character who has a degenerative disease and who knows he is going to die”says Léo Lorléac’h. “And beyond that, what I liked about this role was ultimately not playing with my body. There was a lot of work in terms of acting which was super interesting, it was a real challenge”.

“I discovered theater in middle school, in sixth grade, and there was this connection to acting that appealed to me. I realized that I really liked acting”tell Noah Wodecki when asked how he got the desire to play comedy. “I had this ease on stage, but I quickly noticed that I was more interested in films than in plays. And so I wanted to continue in that, to go to castings. I quickly understood that I wanted to be an actor because I was really bored at school”.

Trained at Cours Florent, Noé Wodecki was noticed by Marilou Berry, who directed him in his second feature film, the comedy When We Cried the Wolf, which was released in theaters in 2019. He shared the bill with Gérard Jugnot, Bérengère Krief and Marilou herself. For his first steps in the cinema, the young budding artist landed a main role. That of Victor, a child with an overflowing imagination, who never stops inventing absurd stories

After a stint on the Netflix series Lupine, the young actor joined Les Bracelets rouge at the start of the 4th season on TF1. He plays Gabriel, a psychologically shaken teenager following traumatic events, who forms a very strong friendship with Benji and unexpectedly sees an old acquaintance from high school come back into his life whom he would have preferred never to see again.

Gabriel is also the first gay teenager in Red Bracelets history. An effort at diversity on the part of the screenwriters that Noé Wodecki is proud to carry through his character: “I’m proud to play a homosexual because there hadn’t been one before in the series. But I hope that we live in a world where our sexuality has no influence on the consideration of others “.

The Red Bracelets is the first big experience ofEsther Blanc in terms of comedy. “I didn’t have a big project before this one, but I started very little, at the age of five, following in my brother’s footsteps”she tells us about her journey. “I did theater, I acted in short films, and I participated in music videos, including that of “Hell is the others”, by the rapper Youssoupha”.

After making an appearance in season 5 of Un village français and having followed Hélène Poitevin’s workshops for several years to learn the basics of the profession, Esther Blanc landed her first leading role in season 4 of Bracelets rouge, which begins tonight on TF1. She portrays the young Zoé, who finds through mathematics a security that she no longer has since the disappearance of her parents. While she accompanies her brother (Michaël Gregorio) to the hospital to have a cast removed from his arm, tests reveal a tumor that must be treated urgently.

“I quickly had a fairly clear idea of ​​the character”says Esther Blanc. “I wanted Zoé to be very rigid in her way of being, in her way of speaking, for her voice to be higher than mine. I wanted to create a different character, through her thinking, her way of speaking. behave”. A successful bet if we judge by the episodes of this fourth season, in which Zoé leaves no one indifferent.

Kali Drink discovered comedy through theater before later experiencing series and television. “Like many people, it was a refuge for me, far from school”says the young actress. “I kind of wanted to escape from all that, and the theater was a very nice experience, which allowed me to create a safe space”.

While training at the Maurice Ravel Conservatory, Kali Boisson participated in the music video for the title “Flow”, by Lola Andréoni. The young artist obtains her real first role in ASKIP, the college tells the story. From the start of the 2021 school year, she plays Raphaëlle Calonne, one of the new students of the establishment in seasons 3 and 4.

In 2023, TF1 viewers will discover her headlining season 4 of Bracelets rouge. Kali Boisson is part of the new cast of this choral series about the daily lives of hospitalized adolescents. Waiting for a kidney transplant, Emma, ​​her character, dreams of escaping far from all these concerns.

“From reading the script, I loved this ultra punk, rock’n’roll character, who doesn’t hold his tongue in his pocket”continues Emma’s interpreter. “And then I met some great people on this series. We created a good little group. And Blandine Bellavoirwho plays my character’s mother, really became my on-set mom, we spent a lot of time together.”.

At 16 years old, Noah Deric is convinced by her grandmother to participate in Elite Model Look World, an annual competition organized by the prestigious modeling agency. Selected from around a hundred potential candidates, he became, in 2017, one of the twelve finalists of the French national casting.

But since childhood, the young man has cherished a sweet dream: to become an actor and follow in the footsteps of his idol, Will Smith. “I was a big fan of Fresh Prince of Bel AirI loved it when I was seven or eight years old”admits Noah Deric, who explains to us that modeling allowed him, one thing leading to another, to move towards acting and land his first roles on screen.

After a stint in the France 2 daily soap opera Un Si Grand Soleil and Joséphine ange garde, the young boy of Martinican origin is chosen to complete the new cast of season 4 of Bracelets rouge. TF1 viewers will discover him in the shoes of Nathan, a high school student hospitalized urgently following a surfing accident.

To play this character, Noah Deric had to prepare to slip into the shoes of a blind person overnight: “It wasn’t easy, we wanted to get as close as possible to reality and what a person who has just lost their sight experiences. For this, I was lucky enough to have the help of a coach with whom I talked a lot and with whom I found little tips. To train, I put a blindfold on my eyes and I walked around my house with it, it helped me a lot”.

Maxime Pipet (César)

A fan of theater since childhood, Maxime Pipet really clicked during confinement, in 2020, and then decided to launch into comedy professionally. “As for many people, confinement was a great period of boredom for me”explains the young actor. “I asked myself what I was really missing, and the answer was theater. I had been doing it for a long time and I missed it, this feeling of creating, of traveling in the imagination”.

Maxime Pipet finally joined Cours Florent in 2021 and, proof that work pays off, landed a recurring role in season 4 of Bracelets rouge. He plays César, a patient in the pediatric department of the Léonard de Vinci hospital in Arcachon, absent from the first episodes, who will end up crossing paths with Zoé.

“César is a very intelligent young man, who has created a sort of shell for himself to compensate for all his relapses. He has undergone several chemos, had several relapses, and he has an amputated leg when we meet him. All that is obviously very hard for him to live with, but he hides it behind a slightly sarcastic, deadpan, cynical personality..
