less gameplay and more cinematics?

The clock is ticking for God of War Ragnarok which will launch in a few more months. And while waiting for the release, the lifespan would have been unveiled by a reliable insider in detail.

How quickly will you complete God of War Ragnarok? According to a new rumor, the developers are going to be generous.

God of War Ragnarok: a game with gameplay or cutscenes?

Tom Henderson (via Insider Gaming) has had hearsay about God of War Ragnarök’s lifespan, and fans of the previous installment won’t be disappointed or out of place. According to his sources, the straight line play would require 20 hours of play. This is for the story only and not for the challenges or side quests. To see all of it, on the other hand, you have to add 20 more hours, so 40 hours in total.

In the 20 hours devoted to the scenario, there would be approximately 3h30 of cinematics and approximately 16h30 of playable sequences. Compared to God of War (2018), there would be approximately 25 minutes more videos. The length of the story in both games is equal.

However, there is one area where GOW Ragnarok is much stronger: side quests. If we are to believe the indiscretions of Tom Henderson, combined with the How Long To Beat site, there would be 8 to 9 additional hours of side quests. A nice increase if confirmed.

God of War Ragnarok will be available on November 9, 2022 on PS5 and PS4. To wait, you can rewatch the latest crazy 4K trailer, as well as this recap video.
