Every Friday evening, stars and professional dancers give their best on “Let’s Dance” to dance their way to the next round. Professional dancer Kathrin Menzinger, of all people, is now being criticized – and it’s not about her performance.
Twelve couples competed against each other in the third live show of “Let’s Dance” on Friday evening, March 15, 2024. While Stefano Zarella, 33, made it to the next round with the worst jury rating of just ten points, fans had to say goodbye to model Eva Padberg, 44. But the appearance of Mark Keller, 58, with his “Let’s Dance” partner Kathrin Menzinger, 35, is also being hotly discussed on Instagram.

In addition to the elaborately staged choreographies, the glamorous costumes also give you goosebumps every week on “Let’s Dance”. As is usual in ballroom dancing, these are often shorter than laypeople might be used to and thus cause divided opinions. Professional dancer Kathrin Menzinger is currently experiencing this. During her hot tango dance with Mark Keller to the song “Perfidia” by Alberto Domínguez, she danced in a tight-fitting red dress with a slit up to the hips. This cut allows her the greatest possible legroom, but also has the disadvantage that the dress slides up when she lunges and reveals her crotch and the beige bodysuit. Too revealing for some viewers.
In the comments under the reel that Kathrin Menzinger shared on Instagram, it says, among other things: “Impossible cut dress in the crotch area, last camera shot questionable,” or: “It was a nice dance, but with a skin-colored body because of the strange dress It seemed like an accident – you don’t want to look, but you have to.” Not only the cut of the dress is perceived as disturbing, but also the color of the body underneath the dress. According to some followers, if it had been the color red, it wouldn’t have been so noticeable.

But not everyone gets such bad reviews of the fiery tango look. In another picture of the evening that Kathrin posted from Instagram, the compliments to the dancer are overwhelming. She was so personable and looked so beautiful that evening. Above all, her good performance is highlighted in many comments – and that’s what “Let’s Dance” is ultimately about.
