Check out this amazing TVhidden in a suitcase and transportable everywhere with you… for those who can afford it.

The weekend or the holidays are for many the perfect time to disconnect and let go of the screens that surround us all year round. For others, LG has a new product for them.

A 27-inch touch screen for a TV break outside

The LG StandbyME Go is at first sight a suitcase, of a rather imposing size, to carry with you. It is by opening it that we understand that the case contains a complete screen to watch films, series and other programs, whether we are in the middle of a park or on the beach.

The 1080p screen offers a size of 27 inches with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Four Dolby Atmos compatible speakers are included for the audio part. It has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, an HDMI port and a single USB port to connect your storage media. A Wi-Fi 5 chip completes the technical sheet, to connect to your streaming services, and the model is also compatible with AirPlay, Apple’s wireless streaming standard.

The screen is also tactile and is used with the fingers to navigate the interfaces, and not only. The different visuals shared by the brand show, for example, the possibility of playing a game of chess and using the television as a digital board.

A complete and smart device, at the price that goes with it

The LG StandbyME Go can indeed be used in a horizontal or vertical position to watch content. The screen can also rotate 90 degrees to watch vertical videos, such as your social media TikTok and Instagram news feed, or content more suitable for mobile format.

For the software part, LG uses its home operating system webOS, and the portable television provides access to most video streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney +, or even Apple TV +.

For autonomy, LG communicates on a duration of use of approximately 3 hours before a forced passage on a mains socket. The battery capacity is not mentioned on the manufacturer’s website.
